Amanda Brugel

Pointe Claire, a quiet neighborhood located in The West Island of Montreal is what you might call a "sleepy" location. It is a bit of a mystery as the West Island can be confusing to people unfamiliar of its purpose. It is often believed that it's an island to the west of Montreal, but the West Island encompasses everything between the cities of Lachine and West. The West Island is frequently referred to as the location of birth of Amanda Brugel but while that is true, her stay in the city was brief. Brugel became a woman of a certain age in Courtice Ontario just outside Oshawa. Her initial ambition was to become an actress, However, following a dramatic expansion, she and her partner weren't able to dance along with her. According to an article by Toronto Star, she revealed that in heels she was 6 foot 1 inches tall. When I outgrew my male partners I stopped. A lot of former dancers go on to acting, and in Brugel's situation, it was a nudge from the drama instructor at her high school that pushed her in the right direction. The teacher encouraged her to try out for roles in a school production. She was chosen to play the main part for Anne of Green Gables after she had a go at. It was the Fine Arts Talent Scholarship led her to York University, where she completed her studies in Theatre and graduated with an undergraduate degree in Fine Arts in 2000. For the last twenty years, her work has been seen on both the small and large screen. The most notable was her attention when she won her part as Rita on the award-winning TV series The Handmaid's Tale. Brugel made an appearance on only a handful of moments in the very first season of the show The Handmaid's Tale. She was the only Canadian actor.
